SABH KUCH BIKTA HAI |Everything Is For Sale| poem by Harivansh Rai Bachchan with English translation

   Yaha  Sabh Kuch Bikta hai

This is a poem written by famous poet and a father of famous bollywood superstar Mr Amitabh Bachchan. He is none other than Mr Harivansh Rai Bachchan with English translation also.

Yaha  Sabh Kuch Bikta hai

Yaha sabh kuch bikta hai ,
              Rehna zara sambhal kar

Bechne wale hawa bhi bech dete hai ,
                 Gubbaro me daal kar

Sach bikta hai , jhooth bikta hai ,
              Bikti hai har kahani

Teen lok mein faila hai ,
               Fir bhi bikta hai bottle me paani

Kabhi phoolon ki tarah mat jeena ,
       Jis din khiloge , toot kar bikhar jaoge

Jeena hai toh pathhar ki tarah jiyo ,
                          Jis din tarashe gaye ,                Khuda ban jaoge  ...!!!!

                ~By Harivansh Rai Bachchan

जीना है तो पत्थर की तरह जियो;
जिस दिन तराशे गए, ख़ुदा बन जाओगे।।

                                ~ हरिवंशराय बच्चन

Below is the English translation of this poem.

Beware friends! Everything is for sale here!!!

Sellers may even sell off air , infusing it in balloons 🎈🎈!!!

Truth is sold , lies are sold; every story is being sold!!!

Spread across every surrounding, yet water gets sold in bottles  !!!

Never live like a flower;
The day you bloom….you would pluck and wither.

If you want to live, live like a stone 🪨 ,
The day you are fed up……you will turn into a “GOD”....!!!!!

  GIRL CHILD - NOT STILL WELCOMED BY MANY COMMUNITIES   A  question of a girl from society and world " What's my fault if I born as a Girl..?????Why society hates me ...????  I have a question from GOD why created me & send it to hell if society sees me as a Curse .????? Why ..??? Why. .?? Why. ....???? W omen constitute half of this world . But a recent survey showed that there are still many communities in India which don't welcome the birth of a girl child . It is a shame That inspite of liberalisation & globalisation we are mentally still deeply rooted in the superstitions & beliefs of the middle ages & feudalism . No doubt, there are certain communities in India which consider the birth of a girl child an inauspicious burden. In a male dominated society , the birth of a girl child is not an occasion for rejoicing . But the most unfortunate & alarming thing is that even in most prosperous states foetal killing & abortions are very com...

EGOTISM - COMMONEST FAULT OF MANKIND

E gotism is the most common fault of mankind. Product of the perfectly natural desire to display oneself, egotism, which is an exaggerated form of self- display, can take such a variety of shapes that it is not always easy to discern. Beyond any shadow of doubt,however, it is personal defect that ought to be constantly hunted down the scotched, for it impairs the personality & frustrates all efforts at self-improvement. " Egotism is the glue with which you get stuck in yourself "             The easily recognisable form of egotism that is evidenced in the person who continually talks of his own affairs. You may all have met such kind of man who is never happy save when recounting his exploits & experiences in life & whatever he speaks may later arrive at himself. On the other hand , there is a type ,not common ,which evidence its egotism by affecting a humility & that is certainly not felt , & avoid use of "I" in speech .such affectatio...
