LET US KNOW THE DIFFERENCE


There are several words in English language which actually have differ use but most of us are not familiar with the difference , so to correct you all I am providing some examples in order to help you folks. 


DROWN - It is used for living beings !!

Example :
     My friend drowned in the river .




  

Whereas ,


SINK - It is used for lifeless things !!

Example :
    The motor boat sank in the big tank .

CORN FLOUR - Corn flour is a flour made out of whole corn kernel and therefore it is yellowish in color and used as a flour to knead and to get crispyness.


  



Whereas , 


CORN STARCH - Corn starch is a flour made of inner kernel which is white in color and is used to thicken the gravy also works as a binding agent .

PURSUING - Pursuing is a word we have to use in a written form .


Example - If a question comes to write what are you doing then you must write like this " I am pursuing my graduation"


Whereas , 


DOING - Doing word has to be used in oral form . 


Example - While giving introduction you must say " I am doing graduation".

CARTOON - Cartoons are the animated characters or can be a drawing , it could be non realistic/ unrealistic or semi realistic.

Example -

        Mickey mouse , Tom & Jerry etc are cartoon characters.





Whereas ,


CARTON - Carton is a cardboard box used for packaging the materials which can be secure and safe from damage. 

Example - 

              For delivering the bulk orders companies or sellers use cartons to deliver the product safely without any damage.

GUARANTEE - Guarantee is an agreement or contact between seller/manufacturer  and buyer it can be of 1 year , lesser or more , It says that in case of any concern replacement will be provided to the buyer and new product will be deliver. Guarantee can not be extended. It is hard to get .


Whereas , 


WARRANTY - warranty says that in case of any concern item will be repaired and the same product will be repaired and then handover to the buyer and not the the new item will be deliver. Warranty can be extended.  It can be easily provided .

Capital -  Amount & other resources with which a business is started or carried on is called capital .                     Types of Capital    (1) Owned  capital - The amount & other resources employed in the business which belongs to the owner/owners of the business are together called owned business.   (2) Loaned capital - The amount & other resources employed in business which are borrowed by the owner/owners of the business from outside persons or organisations are together called loaned capital.
