WHAT IS BOURGEOIS ??? Bourgeois - Citizen , Middle class person , Merchant or a Trader. The term " bourgeois " originates from the French language and is used to describe a social class in capitalist societies. According to Marxist theory, the bourgeoisie is seen as the ruling class in capitalist societies, while the working class or proletariat constitutes the lower class.
